Author Guidelines




Jurnal Hukum Media Bhakti receive research manuscripts, conceptual ideas, book review, and other types of scientific writing that have never been and will not be published in other media.


Writing Procedures:


  1. Manuscript can be written in English Language, use standard grammar, straightforward and communicative (easy to understand) and not multiple interpretations.
  2. Manuscript must be written in font type Times New Roman size 12 (except the title), space 1 (satu), top 4 cm, bottom 3 cm, right 3 cm, left 3 cm, paper A4 (210x297 mm) pages 10-15 halaman, 2 (two) coloumns, Microsoft Word programme. A page number is given in each sheets of writing.
  3. The contents consist of:
    1. Title: The title must reflect the contents of the writing and specific, 12 words maximum, capital letters.
    2. Author’s identity: Author’s identity put below of the title, consist of Full Name (without designation), Affiliation and correspondence email.
    3. Abstract and Key Words: Abstract and key words must be written in 1 (one) paragraph 200-250  words. Abstract must describe the entire writing contents essence.
    4. Introduction: Introduction contains the urgency of the research illustrates the problem with the inverted pyramid method from global, national and local.
    5. Methods: accomodate the research methods used are written concisely
    6. Discussion: consist of Result and Discussion.
    7. Conclusion: the author can add suggestion (if there is).
    8. Manuscript content must include: INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULT AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, BIBLIOGRAPHY)  must be written in capital letters and bold, arranged evenly on the left
    9. Each table must be given table title with Arabic Numbering in the top of the table and followed by the table title.
    10. Bibliography use the latest reference (last five years).
    11. References must be written in Vancouver style. Numbers are arranged in the order in which they appear in the text. The numbers for each reference item are written in parentheses, for example (1). Some references can be written in one parenthesis, for example (2,4,6).
    12. Reference management applications like Mendeley, Zotero or Endnote, should be used to insert references or making bibliography in the manuscipt.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
